The project will draw heavily on the involvement of other stakeholders from the whole food sector in order to ensure strong results with clear practical relevance. This involvement will be achieved by the establishment of a Stakeholder Advisory Board (SAB). This group will serve as a consultation platform for the Project Management group and will meet annually. The SAB will constitute those stakeholders that will find this project of value to them, and therefore would wish to be active in shaping the work programme, for example policy-makers, associations representing foods and drinks, consumer organisations, public health and health promotion experts, schools, associations interested in communicating positive messages to encourage behavioural change.

Through the creation of a Stakeholder Advisory Board, the Eatwell consortium will ensure that the various views are integrated into the project. In doing so, Eatwell consortium recommendations will match the decision-making needs of stakeholders.
